First of all I want to start off by saying that this kid, Seven Davis Jr., has become one of my newest friends in a short time frame, which is rare. Seven played a LOT of songs, beats, etc. to me and they ALL are bananas. He played one of his instrumentals to me and I lost my mind, so I put it on my New Mix #1 – The New Situation. I heard this joint, The Landing, and again, I lost my mind. He hipped me to JMitchell and she is definitely someone that I am looking forward to one day working with. The two came together to form Black Genius. They both are dope and I am sure you all may agree. This joint was written, arranged, produced by Seven Davis Jr. So here y’all go.
